Q: What are the dates for Noel Acadien Au Village for 2020?

A: The festival will be open from December 4 until December 23, 2020 from 5:00pm–9:00pm nightly (weather permitting). 

Q: How will COVID-19 affect the program?

A: The health and safety of our visitors are our number one priority and we have instituted a number of safety measures.  LARC will be following a state approved Open Safely plan.

 Q: What are the protocols for attending Noel Acadien?

A:  We are limiting the number of visitors  per night.  In order to achieve this, tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the event.  Masks are required for entry.  The Acadian Village site is 10 acres, which allows ample space for social distancing.  Hand sanitizing stations are located throughout the village.  Before entering the event, all visitors, volunteers, performers and staff will be scanned for temperature check. 

Q: How do we get there?

A: The entrance by Rue de Belier is an EXIT ONLY during the festival. Please use the following address for your GPS:

Q: Will we be able to rent a wheelchair at the Village?

A: No, we do not have wheelchairs available for rent.

 Where can I purchase tickets?

All tickets MUST BE purchased prior to arriving at the event.  NO tickets will be sold at the village.  Tickets purchased will be date and time specific.   Once you choose the date you wish to attend the program, you must then choose a time.

There are 2 options available:      Option 1    5:00pm – 7:00pm                     

                                                                         Option 2    7:30pm – 9:30pm

Option 1 Visitors will be asked to leave by 7:00 pm.  Gates will reopen at 7:30 pm for option 2 visitors.  The event will close at 9:30 pm.

Sanitizing will be done between 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at Shop Rite locations in Acadiana.  When purchasing at Shop Rite, you must choose a date and time (Option 1 or Option 2) when purchasing tickets.

Q: Will Santa be there every night?

A: Yes, he will, but Santa needs to stay healthy to deliver all the presents…so there will be no sitting on his lap, but he will be in every picture. Photo packages are available for purchase. No cell phone or personal camera photography allowed. 

Q: Do you have an ATM on site in case we run out of cash?

A: Yes, an ATM machine is located in the Pavilion at the rear of the village.

Q: How much is parking?

A: Parking for Noel Acadien au Village is free! The Knights of Columbus members volunteer their time each night to assist with parking.

Q: Can we bring a stroller or a wagon?

A: Yes! Strollers are welcome. Just know that some of our sidewalks are a little uneven so please take your time and watch your step.

Q: Can we bring our pet?

A: Animals are not allowed on village grounds. Service animals are the only exception and must remain leashed at all times.
